Just in case everyone missed it, there's a simple little one sentence post upthread that's pertinent to the Miller discussion.

CodeName1 has weighed in

Can anyone think of a time he's been wrong reporting on a football team injury? I can't. If he says Miller's good, I think it's safe to assume those closest to the situation think he's good too.

I’d like to think of it was more serious, they would have sat him yesterday as a precaution. It wasn’t like we really needed him. The fact that the medical staff thought he was healthy enough to play gives me some optimism he will be okay by next weekend.

That was my feeling afterwards as well. It doesn't seem to be a serious groin injury (like Sasser has), but it is a groin injury which means until it is healed there will be days where it just doesn't loosen up, tweaks, gets tight, whatever and it's a rough day.

Hopefully we can win Saturday, give him 4-5 days to get it fully healed and be ready to roll in Louisville Friday.

No - he's literally batting 1.000 on his injury reports as far as I can remember. I did not see that but it is excellent news.

Were your parents able to get Louisville tickets?

Nope, they got shut out like you did.

My dad and I spent the entire Session interlude yesterday sitting outside trying to handicap which teams ending up in Louisville would most positively/negatively effect pricing and when to buy

Our final assessment was that the dream scenario is probably Alabama, Furman, Creighton, Princeton. The wildcard showing up is Missouri because they will absolutely travel big time to Louisville, and all of a sudden they are a big time favorite to do it.

Huge ramifications for Baylor and Creighton's Final Four chances because of Arizona losing yesterday:

Baylor's Final Four probability moved from 7% to 11%
Creighton's probability moved from 8% to 11%

And Missouri's moved from virtually nothing to 4% after winning yesterday.

What a day for Mizzou yesterday. Win a game they were underdogs in and then go from playing Arizona to playing Princeton for a trip to a Sweet 16 that is 4 hours from St Louis.

Princeton is not a gimme but boy, they have to be over the moon right now.

I haven’t looked at prices today but when I looked on Wednesday neither the Friday nor Sunday prices were outrageous. If I do go, I think it would probably be for elite 8 only.

Tip of the cap to the General - very cool to specifically mention him and know that he passed and acknowledge that.

I want Wade to win 30 games a year and go somewhere and be a top 10 program solely to laugh at LSU fans lose their minds over it

We couldnt ask for a better day yesterday, none of our starters played over 20 minutes. The 2 and the 4 seed in our region lost. Our path is looking a lot easier that I thought it would.

New York Times standing by its story according to Fox News. Supposedly they have or have seen video tape footage of the walk on in the car with Miller.

The kid said it's 100% false.

Would be a pretty bold move to say that knowing you were in the car and that someone is claiming they have clear evidence of it. People have done that before, but boy it takes some level of borderline psychotic nature to do so

Yeah something isn’t adding up somewhere. The kid and his dad were pretty adamant he wasn’t there. Will be interesting to see if the dad issues a statement today knowing there’s allegedly videotape. But it’s the trash bag New York Times so who knows
