Tennessee is the same team they always are under Barnes. Only difference is Knecht is saving them this year when they get stagnant on offense

We need him badly but I hope Oats saw that we should lean on Cosby not Walters.

Walters has been really poor. I will probably get quoted and bashed for that take but I'm standing by it lol

Who are our 3 designated defenders against Knect next game? If we hold him below par who else can step up and beat us?
Haven’t seen 10rC play much this year.

I got gashed by many when I said he has not been a good shooter this year. It matters not what your shooting % is when you don’t deliver when you are needed.
Timing is everything in winning or losing. That is why Sears is so good.
Walters if he stays will be good next year and perhaps very good the year after. He is a natural shooter who just needs to calm his yips down and adjust to playing at this level.

We are essentially 1 win against Tenn at home from clinching at least a share of the SEC. Which would be 3 out of last 4, with virtually no NBA draft picks

Unbelievable, and with all of our petty complaints, just imagine the alternative — Arkansas is sitting at 5–10 (sorry Pio).

This team is garbage
What a garbage post. Clueless too. Number 6 in NET and 5 in RPI and 7 in KenPom. One of the highest ranked offenses in college BB history - 1.7 points ahead of the 2nd place team, 7 points ahead of the number 9 offensive team.

Lost Bediako surprisingly and late, so focus on offense and perimeter D, then lose the best perimeter defender, but have gone 2-1 without him including beating a good UF team at home and a decent, 75 NET and 41 RPI, OM team on the road - that's 2 quad 1 wins without Wrightsell.

But Oats has to listen to garbage like this from his own fan base. No wonder other parts of the country think that Alabamaians are stupid.

Go frick yourself. This team needs to move to the next level. Playing shite defense and getting embarrassed on the court happens in year 1 &2, not 5. That falls on the coaching and lack of leadership to get them ready to win each game.

I say play both Sam and Davin decent minutes because we are draining Mark Sears and Aaron Estrada's legs.

I want Bama to be as fresh as possible for a tournament run.

Sam Walters is a good shooter and he's made clutch shots.

You and buddy need to take a seat.

Are you okay?

I could've sworn that Bama was picked to finish 5th for this season and the reasons why...

1. (2) First Round Draft Picks with one being Brandon Miller (who was the best player in the country as a FRESHMAN).
2. Alabama lost their top (3) assistant coaches to Division 1 head coaching jobs.
3. Alabama lost Nimari Burnett, Jaden Bradley, Jahvon Quinerly, and Charles Bediako...(2) of these guys would've been starters on this team.

But somehow...this team has managed to win twenty games and they've played one of the TOUGHEST schedules in college basketball.

So I think and I'm sure many other fans agree that this team has great coaching and leadership because if they didn't we wouldn't be sitting at the top of the SEC right now.

I heard midol helps by the way!

You and the other guy who said this team is garbage can go frick each other in the arse. Neither of you know shite about basketball.

And we dont want you to support the football team either. Just go down to walmart and find a new tshirt to wear you fricking losers.

Alabama basketball has accomplished all goals that reasonable fans hold it to.

Winning SEC record
20 win season
NCAA Tournament appearance

Oates owns the SEC, but needs to be better against bigger non conference teams. How did this team lose to Ohio St in Florida and Clemson at home?

Alabama gained a Quad 1 win as Indiana State went from #31 to #28

Similarly, Alabama lost 2 Quad 1 wins as Florida dropped from #28 to #33 and Mississippi State went from #30 to #31

It's Oats and we basically don't have a legitimate center yet still beat Auburn.

If Bediako came back we would probably only have 2 or 3 losses.

Which shows just how great Oats has coached these guys up
