Crucial win today. Had to have it. Kudos to Nelson and Sears, played like warriors. Finally Nelson came out and played to his reputation.
What was up with Estrada, guy was lost?
Sears is moving into the upper echelons of our basketball royalty.
If we had four or five like him we would never lose.

Stevenson grew up BIG time tonight, good minutes from him all around.

He also played the last stretch of the game in key minutes and absolutely held his own/almost got the and 1 over Broome.

Would love to see this be the game where it all started to click for him and see him take off the 2nd half of the year

Putting Nelson at the 5 really changed this teams ceiling. Gamechanger. And if Stevenson keeps getting better we can have him at the 4 more.

IMO our best lineup will end up being.

Sears
Estrada
Wrightsell
Stevenson
Nelson

6th Man:
Griffin

Two of our starters had a combined 2 points. Not sure why Griffen, who had 17, was coming off the bench. Still way too many turnovers down the stretch with 14 for the game. Great win. Kept you on the edge of your seat the last 10 minutes.

6th man is practically a starter in modern basketball. He played 30 minutes last night.

Sears went 1-5 from 3 and still controlled the game. He’s just so much better this year at using his strength to get to the rim in an under control way.

He’s just so much better this year in general.

Wrightsell had a fantastic first half and is just a good player.

I thought bringing Rylan off the bench was a good move by Nate. Auburn has been separating from teams with their 2nd unit because of their depth advantage and having Rylan out there as a scoring threat was big.

Grant Nelson winning the Hard Hat

Anybody have the season count for hard hat winners? Grant Nelson has to be up there.

As much as he has struggled with his shot and overall scoring, you have to give Grant a ton of credit for continuing to play hard as hell pretty much every game and doing a ton of other things to help this team win.

Back up to #7 in NET after yesterday. 3-4 in Quad 1 now. Resume starting to look pretty strong.

Auburn the only Net top 25 team without a Quad 1 win (0-3). I know they are a good team but they don’t have a great win yet.

Our season ticket holders should be ashamed with how many Barners ended up in that arena last night.

KD Johnson and Bruce Pearl tried to get a fan a few rows in front of us kicked out for yelling “KD sucks” when they were going out of the tunnel for halftime. Mental midgets.

It’s unreal how the officials were in Auburn’s huddle the entire game. They let KD berate them in front of their bench for two minutes and didn’t get T’d up but hit Sears with one for tossing the ball after getting molested the entire length of the court. Just unreal how we get no home cooking.

Truth is an absolute, irrefutable defense to defamation so I hope the university didn't open itself up to a lawsuit by retaliating against a fan who was well within their rights.

That did suck. However, silver lining is that quite a few AU fans got to see their team take another L from Bama in person.

That’s really rich considering how AU fans in “the jungle” get after opposing teams’ players. I’ve been to a couple games there and it gets pretty rough. If you are going to dish it you have to be able to take KD and Pearl.
