Allow me to put this thing is a little perspective. When the concept of "NIL" began, it was an acronym for "Name, Image and Likeness". Well, that concept is the most loosely used term in existence now. NIL is nothing more than pay-for-play, and Nick Saban saw this and predicted it basically from the get-go.

The federal courts opened the door for this fiasco, and now the toothpaste is out of the tube. You know what they say about getting it back in, right?
I can tell you this much. Some serious followers of the NFL game don't think the current "NIL" system will be "fixed". College ball is now (semi?) pro ball. And chances are, it ain't going back.

Not much of anything stays static in life. The one thing that never changes is change itself. There will be changes to the NIL and portal format, it's just when and what. But if they ever officially deem the players "pro" or "semi pro", that in and of itself will require contracts, no different than the NFL, UFL, and CFL.

Just think guys DeBoer won 9 games without his OC and a scrambler at QB in an air raid offense with the worst receiveing core we’ve had in a long time. We will be fine

I think we will be fine but that is a horrible reason for why...

Anyways, I hope this year we will be able to be more prepared before games and be able to adjust during them

So it’s DeBoers fault he had to to put a TE coach as emergency OC and use a QB that is as consistent as a blind man playing i-spy

And yall can downvote me into eternity but DeBoer has admitted and basically said out loud that Milroe only played as a favor to him staying after Saban left to keep the offense together.

Milroe sucked and DeBoer knows it. We to 7-5 without Ryan Williams

Damn, hate to hear that. I interned with Crimson Cover when I was in school in 2011/2012 as a production assistant. Mike and Copeland would crack jokes on each other all the time, and it would crack everyone on set up. They were fun to work with, and nice to us. Those were good times. Condolences to his loved ones, and may he rest in peace.

On3 reporter names Mo Linguist as a possible hire by Texas to replace their Safety coach who just bolted for the NFL.

That'd leave Jason Jones as the sole DB coach, right?

For now, but with no limit to on-field coaches I'm sure we'd replace him with someone else.

Didn’t they just hire a DB coach? Or was that just for corners or safeties ?
