Seems to be some rumors that Roach may be on his way out and that's having an impact on the Mbakwe discussions?
If Roach is let go, I wonder if we'll see some additional guys hop into the portal.

Supposedly he's close with a lot of players on the team and helped hold the roster together when Saban retired.
I mean, even though Bak's "goodbye" post to Bama fans was generated using AI, he only mentioned KDB and Roach...not the DC or his position coach

I just got back from Columbus. Alabama's roster talent is not even close to Ohio State's. Of all the teams this season, Ohio State is the closest comparison to Saban's elite rosters. I think Alabama's talent level was overstated at the start of the season and expectations got out of hand-- not sure that is KD's fault. Also, Ohio State and Texas spent much more on their rosters, which showed on the field. UGA did not, but they will have to going forward.
