CFP committee chair Warde Manuel was asked on a teleconference call for the committee’s reasoning to put Alabama at No. 11 and the highest spot of any two-loss team.
“We obviously view them as the highest-ranked two-loss team at this time,” Manuel said. “The home win against Georgia was impressive. What they just did against Missouri, a 24th ranked Missouri team. The loss to Vanderbilt on the road at Vanderbilt was something that we also looked at as well as the road loss at Tennessee. Tennessee is ranked No. 7. They’re top 20 in scoring. Their defense is always solid, holding teams to less than 20 points per game. Those things impressed the committee.”

We'd play at Penn State in that scenario.
I'd like our chances.

Ranking and seeds are different because conference champs have to be 1-4

Austin Mack is the scout team QB playing Nuss cause he can make all the throws. Looks as though his talent is undeniable, ascendant. Hope it doesn't go to his head.

I just hope we can hang on to Keelon with Mack balling out!

12 team playoff projections don't mean anything at this point in terms of matchups. There is zero chance the current projections hold up. Zero.
Ohio State is 5 but if they win out they'll play Oregon. If they lose, they'll drop, if they win, they move up and Oregon drops.
UGA is 2. If they win out they'll have to beat Texas again, so Texas won't be 6.
When you have 4 teams it's easier to say, "If they win out this is how it'll look" but when you have 12 teams you have a bunch of games where the teams will play each other.
Of the top 12 seeds, there are 2 games where they play one another in the regular season.
Indiana (9), plays Ohio State (5)
Tennessee (8). plays UGA (2)
This doesn't include conference championship games.
All you can tell from the initial rankings is whether or not winning out is likely to get you into the final rankings.
If Bama wins out, they're in. I think there's a good shot we host a game too. Tennessee is going to drop behind us when they lose to UGA.
Texas probably loses to UGA in the SECCG. Indiana loses to OSU. Tennessee loses to UGA . Now Bama is 8th and hosting the 9th ranked team. I wouldn't be shocked if we end up hosting Notre Dame.

Keanu Koht didn't travel with the team to last night's game.
Tim Watts doesn't know if that means he has been removed from the roster.
Word on BOL is Q Robinson has a broken wrist.

Roberts has apparently been dealing with some kind of injury that requires a lot of pain management but doesn't get worse from playing through it, which is why they rotate Geno in some to give him a break. I bet he has surgery as soon as the season ends.
