Joey Blackwell@BlackwellSports·4h Per Brad Bohannon, William Hamiter jammed his shoulder when making contact with the outfield wall on Saturday. Bo doesn't know if he'll be back Tuesday or this weekend, but his injury is why he was not on the field for the Crimson Tide on Sunday.
It feels like we've had a lot of injuries this year. Hamiter, Jean, Preilipp (knew that before season started), and it seems to be a few others throughout the season. All in all, I guess Bo has done a commendable job with that fact.

That was just based on what someone mentioned on BOL. He hasn't pitched in a while, and it's not like he is doing worse than the other pitchers so the only conclusion i can come up with is injury

I enjoyed my first visit to your ballpark Saturday, thank you to whoever it was months ago (can't rememebr who) that gave recommendations on where to sit in the stadium. Ample parking and wide open concourses were nice. We sat in the sun but who cares. I really liked the right field student area you guys have, it kills me that Foley doesn't have something similar. I feel like we're abotu the only school nowadays that doesn't have something like that. When we were walking past that area prior to walking into the stadium it looked like there were separate linse once of which was checking IDs, how does that work? If you're 21 are you allwoed to bring your own alcohol in there? Only thing I found a bit strange was the copmletely solid brick wall behind home, I would've thought that for safety reasons that would need to be padded, plus for aesthetics it probably doesn't look as good on TV as it otherwise could. Oh well...overall my wife and I had a good time and would gladly come again.

I might be in the minority in this thinking, but I absolutely HATE the brick wall behind home plate. I have no clue why they didn't make that seating and I agree it looks terrible on TV. Glad you had a good time, just happy we didn't get swept.

I think that is pretty accurate; however, not sure I see us getting a win vs Arkansas. I think 2 out of 3 versus South Carolina is a MUST. Not sure we make a regional this year with a 13-17 conference record or even a 14-16 record. We lost way too many non-conference games this season we had no business in losing

Agree - 14-16 is the floor for getting in this year. The league isn't as good, either.

We sat out there for the first time this year during a spring break game when the students were out. They had a line for people who were going to drink and one for those who weren’t (two different color wrist bands). You could have six cans of beer or seltzer per person (no hard liquor - saw some high noons on the security table so they recognize what’s not allowed). You also have to consume it in a cup that is not clear/transparent - can’t drink it out of the can. They dig thru everything - literally took every can out of the cooler to look at it, had to unfold the camping chair and felt the bag it came in, and they hand dug through the clear plastic stadium bag. Very thorough. It’s typically only open to students but they opened it to the public for the spring break series and I suspect they’ll do it again for the Arkansas series after school is out.
When it first opened it was much more lax. Anyone could sit out there and you could bring whatever you wanted and as much as you wanted. Folks would float between the stands and right field since they couldn’t have alcohol in the stands. As I recall, and it’s fuzzy, some nimnod (not a student) poured a beer on an opposing team’s player who was up against the wall in right field (maybe Tennessee?) and it got shut down quick. No alcohol and no one but students allowed. Seems like that went on for the rest of that season, the next season and maybe into the next. Right field was pretty much a ghost town. Then they started back with much more stringent rules like they have today.

Trying to watch on the ESPN app, but it won't open.
Hopefully this is the start of a run to get us to 40 wins.
