Not saying we will because I have no idea how this team will perform from day to day but Ole Miss is beatable.

Light crowd tonight - a lot of guys got a chance to play. Several young guys pitched. Hayslip got in for a couple of at bats and played right field. Hodo got a couple of at bats. Things could have gotten out of hand in the early innings but fortunately did not. So nice to have Hamiter back in the line up. Good win heading into a big weekend series. As mentioned above, Ole Miss can be beaten. Hopefully Bama takes advantage of that. Stadium announced Belmont as a 3 pm start (next Tuesday).

Offensive Explosion Powers Baseball to 10-1 Midweek Win over Samford
The Alabama offense used 12 hits and seven walks to post 10 runs in the Crimson Tide's 10-1 win over Samford on Tuesday evening at Sewell-Thomas Stadium. With the midweek victory, UA improves to 18-12 on the season.
The Crimson Tide scored four runs apiece in both the fourth and fifth innings while adding two in the sixth to cruise to the 10-1 win. Alabama was led at the plate by William Hamiter and Bryce Eblin. Hamiter finished 2-for-4, including his first home run of the season, to go with a team-high four RBI and two runs scored. Eblin paced the Tide with three hits as part of a 3-for-4 night that included an RBI, a walk and a pair of runs to match Hamiter.
Ben Hess was solid in his fifth start of the season for the Crimson Tide, working 3.1 scoreless innings and allowing four hits and a walk to go with three strikeouts. Braylon Myers (1-0) was first out of the bullpen, logging 1.1 innings for his first career win. The freshman allowed one unearned run on one hit with a strikeout. Myers was followed by Jake Leger, Luke Holman and Brayden Gainey with the trio combining for six strikeouts and a walk while holding the Bulldogs scoreless and hitless over the final 4.1 frames.
From Assistant Coach Jason Jackson
"We've had a couple of Tuesdays where we didn't play well, so it's nice to get back-to-back midweek wins. We really got a good start from Ben (Hess), and he continues to get better each week. We got a lot of the young guys in the game, including Luke Holman and Braylon Myers. Braylon came in in a tight spot and got us out of a jam. We put up some early zeroes on the mound and that gave us a chance to swing the bats a little bit. We've scored double-digit runs in two of our last three games, and we have won five of our last six, so it's starting to come together a bit for us."
