Hate to see that as he had some big moments here, but a lot of the time he just disappeared. Especially during SEC play

Beyond thankful for my time and all the great people I met at the University of Alabama. However, I have decided to enter the transfer portal and continue my academic and athletic career elsewhere.

Who are we going to get to ground into a double play to end the inning with the bases loaded every other game next year?

A refresher on who has signed for next year. Not all are expected to make it to campus.

No inside info here so I’m not sure how likely or unlikely, and I don’t subscribe to any of the paywall baseball sites — but the other names I’ve heard mentioned who might get drafted are Quick, Madden and Swinney. (With no indication how high they might get drafted).

Tommy White from NC State has entered the portal. Can we pool some money together to get him? I have $5

Read more at: LINK

White and his bat burst onto the scene the opening weekend of his college career, when he hit three home runs in his debut. Quickly earning the nickname ‘Tommy Tanks’ from N.C. State fans, he finished that weekend with five home runs against Evansville. A new legend was born as White ended the season with 27 home runs, setting a new NCAA freshman home run record. The previous record was set in 1990.

It's still very early in this process, but the word on the street for a while has been that White wants to return to the Sunshine State for the rest of his collegiate career.

SEC has deal in place to keep baseball tournament in Hoover

The SEC has reached an agreement in principle for the SEC baseball tournament to remain in Hoover for the next two years, according to SEC commissioner Greg Sankey.

Sankey said Friday at the annual SEC spring meetings in Destin that the conference hoped to have the deal finalized soon. The deal will keep the SEC baseball tournament at the Hoover Metropolitan Stadium until at least 2024 once it is finalized with the city.

The SEC has played its baseball tournament in Hoover since 1998 though multiple other cities have made bids over the years to host the popular event. Nashville, New Orleans, Memphis and Jacksonville all bid in 2016 to land the SEC baseball tournament but the league decided to keep it in Hoover.

Tennessee defeated Florida in the 2022 SEC baseball tournament championship game in front of a crowd of 13,270 people.
