I felt like we would be fresh with our friday starter going. I was wrong. We need to claw back a few runs and put in whoever our long reliever is. Jean perhaps or the guy who pitched tuesday in long relief.

The good news is that whenever McMillan gets finished “warming up” in the first couple innings, he normally settles down for a few innings.

Lot of early count balls and long AB already. Can’t imagine he goes very deep today. If we win this one, really not sure what we have left this afternoon.
I’ll preface that by saying I haven’t watched many regular season games this year, but playoff baseball steals my heart, so I’m not overly familiar with our pen.
