Update: It appears that this was actually not T.J. Yeldon’s official Twitter account — it is a confirmed fake.

Right.
Just because he did a celebration, does mean Yeldon lacks class. Kid is 19 years old. He usually doesnt celebrate much, so I think we can give him a pass on it.

Yeldon's always been the type of kid not to do stuff like that. The nation talks shite about him and his friends for two weeks and then they prove them wrong. He deserves to do whatever the frick he wants.

if we had lost that game then you would not be signing that tune.

It was easily my favorite penalty in recent Alabama history

No, but JFF would have

Mine too. Mostly because it was really out of character for him. If having fun playing football is now considered "classless" we need to stop playing because it isn't a game anymore.

How's the view from that high horse?
Class, schmass.

People act like football should be played in dinner jackets with classical music playing in the background.
I have never seen TJ celebrated a touchdown, so this obviously was something that just happened spur of the moment.

the bear..You do recall him right? He said act like you have been there before. If we starting getting penalties for excessive celebrations and unsportsmanlike stuff then we are now better then the JFF's of the world..and when it hurts the team with a 15 yard penalty and we lose a game because of that then you young whipper snappers will sing a different tune. But until then be like the Miami's of years past which is why the taunting and celebration penalties came into being.

Thoughts after game 2?
Roll freakin TIDE... we only get so many emotional wins/games in a year these days. It was ugly, but we won. It did NOT go anything like I figured it would... but hey, we will remember that game because it set a few records.
We're undefeated... and this game will leave the defense hungry and gave the offense a healthy dose of confidence. (if they actually needed reassuring anyway)
One last thing. What team can play 100% perfect every single game until they're national champs? Manziel is likely the best college athlete of our time at QB. Even with his absolute best knockout performance, we STILL won.

We played the most dynamic player to ever grace the field and his megatron-esque WR.
I can live with it

Relax, Francis.
If "classy" = condescending and smug, I'm perfectly fine not being "classy".
And I bet I'm older than you and clinging to The Bear is what mired our program in mediocrity for many years.
One personal foul celebration =/= institutionalized chaos and purposeful lack of discipline like the Miami teams of the 80s.
When our coaching staff allows the team to travel in full camo and make music videos and associate with known criminal rappers, I'll start to worry.
Now just relax in your wheelchair, and this 40 something year old "whipper snapper" will keep on enjoying the rare display of emotion from one guy on the team.

I have to side with mrbroker on this one. Like CNS said, that kind of thing is not what our program is about. Very out of character for TJ
