I’d rather a high school coach not drop the F bomb every other word to a bunch of high school kids, but he shouldn’t lose his job over it. We’ve become too soft and too offended as a society.

I read the original fb comment page.

A mom last year said she took her son off the team because he cussed.

Is the mom going to make him change jobs when hes working and his boss cusses?

Its a soft generation.

Negative. This is way too much.

The occasional damn, shite, arse, or hell from a high school coach is no big deal. This guy is saying frick or GD every other word. He needs to tone it down quite a bit.

What would have been appropriate for you? If he said ,"they ran through our a$$ like chit through a tin horn" would have been better right?

Go tell a 15 year old they’re getting fricked in the arse. Just because he’s a coach doesn’t mean it’s ok. I’m guessing he wasn’t a good coach and that made it easier to fire him. His motivational speech is worthless and he seems like a douchebag who is blaming the kids for him being a bad coach. Which is probably why the kids got him fired.

But of course, those is this thread see no problem with a grown man telling kids they’re getting fricked in the arse.

The coach in the video dropped 14 f-bombs (with several GD's and other vulgar words mixed in) in 85 seconds. That's just a bit excessive.

He shouldnt have apologized. Should have said he was trying to motivate his team and thats what coaches do sometimes. I think cursing that much is cheesy but nothing kids dont here amongst themselves every day

There is always a time and place for intense language. If you constantly use it, it loses the motivational energy and basically makes the person using it seem ignorant.
