The frick? Terry Bradshaw is ugly AF but has 4 Superbowl rings.

I didn't know it was a beauty pageant to be qb at BAMA.

I have said for a couple of months now to the chorus of many downvotes that Austin Mack will be in the mix. He didn’t follow DeBoer across the country to Tuscaloosa just to check out breakfast at The Waysider.

Maybe we are overrating Ty

When I say this, which I have been all season, people think I'm gobbling milroe. I've just been saying that maybe we didn't have a better option...

So Deboer IS the deer in the headlights Gobemouche we all feared he was. That makes it even worse.

I think the players want the best guy to play, but the HC is stubborn and refuses to change.

Like someone here said today the QB should first do no harm.

But you have people on this forum saying Ty would have taken us to 11-1 and the playoffs.

To say that with metaphysical certitude requires wishful thinking.

And wishful thinking brings in the things I cited.

Ty was that good both of these coaches would have gone to him

I’ve been in this camp for most of the last two years, but at some point when Milroe is as bad as he was on at least three different occasions, you’d think that you’d throw the backup in for at least a series or two to shake things up.

And if neither Ty nor Lonergan nor Mack were better than what we put out there this year, next year is probably going to be worse.

So it was an easy-out after the Vandy game to keep Milroe in as a scapegoat? Who carries the blame next year?

Milroe turned the ball over on 3 straight possessions. If Ty can check the do not turn the ball over box that's all I want from him.

I don’t think anyone is saying that it’s certain that Ty Simpson would have us in the playoff. I think the only certainty you could say is that it’s hard to be any worse than what Milroe has shown and that surely Ty can’t be any worse.

Hurts was capable of coming in and taking the job as a true freshman. Maybe keelon can as well.

I said in the game thread that Ty should have played.

I want the best quarterback to play. I don’t care if it’s Simpson, Mack, Russell or some homeless wino DeBoer finds wandering around the Quad.

I agree with you but that statement was made on this forum today. Of course there’s no search function to find it but I know I didn’t imagine it.

This game today was setup to see what Ty could do but $4 fuks that up as well by playing.

You can bet there was money involved in his playing today.

I hope I never see #4 play another down for the U of A.

Kalen and Courtney need to update the roster with some IQ players.

Take the extra money they spent on Mbakwe and share it with Jones #7 and #18.

Bama is overpaying for players on this roster.

I bet Williams alone is making more money than 75% of the entire Boise roster.

Hurts was a project too. He also had outstanding defenses.

He wasn't going to sit out and let Ty play. Might have shown him up.

Yeah but he was also our only option at the time. And he didn’t come in and frick everything up. Just was saying if our QB room is that bad next year just hope he can do the same.

What a great opportunity to let someone else come in and possibly set the stage for next year.
