You see this type of dirty play in football all the time in CFB and it is an obvious attempt to injure a player, yet I have never seen it called a penalty. Same thing caused a pissed Josh Jacobs to flash the Landshark sign at the player that twisted his leg in the end zone, that got him flagged. With all the concerns about injuries, I don’t understand why this isn’t an issue that is addressed.

I don't get it either. Watch the UGA you had players tackling 7SU RB and QB going for their heads and trying to rip off helmets.

Same thing with cut blocks. I think the issue is that no former player is going to file a lawsuit because of a bad knee or ankle, so there is no incentive for the NCAA or NFL to appear to be doing all they can to limit lower leg injuries. That same player launched himself headfirst at Jalen as he was going out of bounds down near the goalline at a later point in the game too. Between that crap and Shane Ray in the 2014 SEC Championship I have nothing but negative feelings towards Mizzou and their players.

This happened multiple times last night. I noticed it was strange how their defenders would wrap our players leg and after the tackle continue to roll with a leg grasped in their arms. Once can’t be seen as maybe coincidental. Multiple times in the same game seems coordinated though.

Not trying to sound paranoid...just my take on observations from the game

JMO but the addition of Mizzou was a failure. I had rather had TCU.

TCU would have been redundant. It was all about the money. aTm was brought in for the Dallas-Fort Worth and Houston TV markets. Mizzou was brought in for the St. Louis and Kansas City TV markets. It had nothing to do with cultural fit or strength of athletic programs.

is it just me? or does it seem like uga is getting real good at their second tackler hitting ball carrier in side of his head with their shoulder pads, at full speed.

Yup, they got away with all kinds of dirty shite. The refs were horrible. I bitched all day about not wanted Hubert Owens to officiate the game, but after what I saw, I won't do that again

And in that same gif, you can see a Mizzou OL going after Humps legs in the top right corner. Illegal as frick and right in front of a ref.
