This video is awesome. Also, how many big plays did metchie have last year? He is overlooked, but man he was good for us this year.

Metchie was solid early in the season. I believe he had a nagging injury that limited what he was able to do and that's likely why his production went down as the season progressed.

I thought about Metchies play in the SECCG to force the turnover. Did he win us the title on that play?

His ankle was so bad he couldnt do much of anything in practice before either Playoff game.I really loved the way JJ and Henry blocked on the perimeter,and Smitty worked like crazy out there also when the ball wasnt in his hands the last 4 years.
But John Metchie was as physical and as relentless as a blocker as I have seen.Just go back through and watch him!!
The ONLY reason Javon Baker didnt see the field very much was his lack of perimeter blocking efficiency.

I think he was one of our top-5 tacklers on the team as well.
