Is the Dynasty over? Maybe. Maybe not. I guess the definition and criteria differ based on opinion. There is no doubt that the Bama Saban dynasty is the greatest in the history of the sport by a mile. The most amazing stat to me is that every single Alabama recruit that stayed just 3 years in the program (minus Andre Smith) since the 2005 class has left Bama with at least 1 NC ring. Simply a stunning fact of incredible consistent excellence.

That streak will end with the 2021 recruiting class assuming Bama doesn't win the NC in 2023...and just assuming someone plays well enough next season to leave early for the draft.

That amazing streak can't last forever, but ending it seems like it would end the dynasty. That doesn't mean Saban is done or won't win another NC. It just means the program will have officially hit a lull by its own elite standard.

But maybe Ty Simpson lives up to his 5 star profile...maybe young guys really step up in '23...maybe necessary program changes happen...and the dynasty continues unimpeded. As of right now, it's hard to see a single first round draft pick from Bama in the '24 draft off hand, but things can change.

Hopefully.

I put Nick at the top of all coaches. I'll forever be grateful for what he's done for Alabama. However, if he isn't willing to make major changes in oc and possibly DC, for the future... Then, he needs to think about his hobbies after football.

Other fanbases are saying things I cannot deny:::::
This is not the Bama teams of the past. We can beat them.
They are weak and finesse.
Where is the Bama running game?
The Bama run is over.
Saban will be lucky to hang on to those recruits he has now that they can see he will be gone soon.
Etc, etc

The scary thing about this season for me is it’s the first time I can think of a Saban team making all the same mistakes as the prior year.

Other than kicking, any weakness in the team would be corrected by the next year. This hasn’t been the case since Pete and BoB took over.

This defense makes the same mistakes that Pete’s defenses made in 2019.

The offense has never improved with BoB either. There is no flexibility in his play calling.

Possibly the DC????? There is no “possible”need for a change in DC; there is an OBVIOUSLY DEFINITE need. Golding should be run out of town on a rail.

It's not hyperbole to say if Pete Golding is the DC next season, the dynasty is officially over.

Move him to LB coach or something if you're married to the guy and he can recruit. It's not like anyone else is looking to hire him.

Dynasty isn’t over. What are you going to say if we win it all in 2023? This fan base sometimes….

That Saban realized that Bob and Golding were very poor coaches and that the personnel he brought in to replace them were leaps and bounds better and showed everyone that coaching makes talent better!

Uh...I'd say the dynasty isn't over. Did you even read the original post? The lack of reading comprehension sometimes...
