I guess they really believe in Dalcourt. Thank goodness the Owens saga is nearing an end. He made it further than 99.9 percent of all athletes on Earth, and earned himself a good education so congratulations to him on his accomplishments.

Things did seem to go from inconsistent to devastatingly bad when Dalcourt got hurt.

That OL lineup gives me a slight glimmer of hope. I still don’t think Dalcourt is an elite caliber OL but still, glimmer of hope.

What frustrates me here is next yr you know Cohen shifts out to left tackle. Then your most likely to see one of or maybe both Brown & George shift inside to guards. So based on that why not shift Cohen to right tackle and move George to guard next to Neal were he can just mash people with that size and length.Neal was schooled at left guard next to an all American and Cohen has developed nicely there.Maybe George and Brown will make better guards than tackles. Because you know if were looking for best 5 next yr one of T Brockermeyer JC Latham will be in that number.Especially when you consider most think Lathem was next up when williams was moved to center. Its to late for all these moves its just we seem to did not or never had a real solid back up plan at center other than move williams back inside.

Well. That’s kind of the point of hope.

The key mistake might've been not grooming Ekiyor as the starting center in fall camp.

Yep, AND how did we get Latham in January and 11 months later he’s still not ready to play? Dude looks like an NFL tackle right now.

I agree with you 100% here but you know Saban feels Ekiyor leaving and wants to be looked at more as a guard NFL stock wise..Even though he would have been better as a center for us this yr.
I like what I saw out of both cohen and george in the A day game and felt both would contribute.
As you have noted O-linemen take time/reps to develop.
I mean considering Delcourt and Cohen are seeing first time full duty SEC play they done relatively well.

Likely the case. Although I don’t care who starts as long as they are the best option.

I agree, but I also think this would be our best-5 combo, L-R: Neal, Cohen, Ekiyor, Brown, George.

So no blaming coaches during the game thread?
