Cooper Bateman was pretty horrible.
Blake Barnett was non functional at that stage of his career.

I think he’s the single worst player to ever suit up in a Bama uniform. A harbinger of death and despair created in a lab by our rivals and enemies with the sole purpose of single-handily ending the dynasty. A plague that is destined to turn the entirety of West Central Alabama into a fiery hellscape.
Upon viewing Milroe’s poor excuse for Quarterbacking, Alabama will be promptly kicked out of the SEC and fans will be magically ensnared by His curse. Spouses will attack spouses, parents will attack children
Nobody will be spared. Everybody will die. And in the end, there will be only Milroe. After He has fully destroyed everything we hold dear, He will sit in Saban’s office chair and smile like Thanos after murdering half the universe. Only then will He rest.

Why can’t people wait and see what he does rather than start such threads before we even know what he is really capable? This is a different year, do you think he has learnt anything in 12 months? Has he improved or is he still the ingenue with stage fright?
Just give him a chance like Saban has and see what happens?

How about we wait until we actually see him compete in a game before forming these opinions. aTm game it was reported Bryce took a majority of the reps up to that game thinking he could go and when he couldn’t Jalen was put out there. Let’s give him a chance.

I try to discuss things intelligently. And bottom line, we have absolutely no data on Milroe that is reliable considering his only start was as a redshirt freshman against the country's top ranked passing defense.

I think this is pre mature by a long shot. Let’s maybe watch some games first? We’ve had a lot of QB’s that had ups and downs but Milroe hasn’t even had a chance to get one or the other?

I mean Ewers went 9/12 for 132 yards in 1 quarter against us last year...
And it's only going to be a "fun" season if we make it to the playoffs.

Let’s be honest about it though. Our second game at texas in 110 degree heat with a shite DC. It was bound to happen Sark was gonna empty the mag on us.

I don't see how this year is any different except it will be a home game, and we have a new DC who we frankly don't know about yet.
Obviously the Texas game is going to be huge as far as showing everyone what this team is.
Best case we come out, dominate, and make a big statement to the rest of the country.
Worst case, we lose in embarrassing fashion and realize we don't have a single serviceable QB on the roster lol
I'm hoping that if we lose, it at least goes down like the 2015 Ole Miss game, where we lose but it's because we played the wrong QB, and the right QB shows up
