My folks kept doing the exact opposite. Taking things out of my left and putting them in my right. Didn't work. Now I'm cursed with 3 right handed kids.

Surprised to not hear much on Mack Wilson

We see it every year though. You hear so and so is tearing it up in spring and then you don't hear a peep from them in the fall. Then you don't hear about so and so during spring and then he is listed as co-starter toward the end of fall camp or he goes on to contribute significant minutes during the season. CJ Mosely comes to mind during his freshman season.

There is more competition at all 4 linebacker spots than anywhere and the competition is more fierce on this team than anywhere else in America. I like Mack's chances to make an impact and regardless of who makes the 2 deep you know they can play. This linebacker unit is going to be like our 2015 DL depth wise. Insane.

My mom did the same thing. I was doing everything with my left hand and she made me use my right.

I agree about the LB depth. But I'm not sure it will be as useful as DL depth.

We know that Evans, SDH, Jennings, and Miller can play. Davis and Moses have huge potential. Wilson and Hall just barely got their feet wet last year and both have flashed huge talent. It's now or never for Jamey Moseley and Keith Holcombe. And then you have Mekhi Brown and Joshua McMillan as wild cards.

But how many of those guys could we realistically rotate in close games?

It will be interesting for sure. We are losing so much production from the front 7. And while we know that there is a plethora of talent at Dline and LB, there really hasn't been much on-field production from most of these guys, which hasn't been the case the past few years.

We know that Payne will be one of the best dlinemen in the nation, and we know about Evans and SDH, but that's about it. I have little doubt that we have the players, and that they will step up, but it definitely is a bigger question mark compared to years past.

We have plenty of depth at LB but I'm not so sure about DL. We have some players who obviously have the talent (Payne, Hand) but we have others who have never blossomed. I'm concerned about the DL. I certainly do not expect the production we've gotten out of that position the last couple of years. I think the pass rush will have to be via the blitz this year.

It will be strong again. Buggs seems a great addition who has been tearing up camp by most reports. Williams was the 10 time scout team player of the week last yr going up against C Robinson regularly. Not to forget he was Jon Allens pick to be the surprise star on DL this year. And Davis is solid.

With Hand, Payne, those and a couple others. It should be another stellar group with a deep lb and potentially better backend support in the secondary in terms of talent and experience than they had last year.

Hand should be a really good pass rusher. He's really long and has great burst. Payne can be disruptive on the inside if the defense goes to a 4 man front.

Buggs, Frazier, King, and Q. Williams are on campus. Need every single bit we can get from those 4 guys.

Then Labryan Ray has got to get on campus and play his arse off freshman year.

Will we see less 4 man fronts this year?

At some point I think we'll see a switch passer.

I coached a kid one year that could pitch with either arm, and consistently throw strikes. Kid didn't realize how gifted he was, poor guy was a serious head case.

It just seems in the fall that he was destined to be the next man up. He played in every game in the fall including on offense and had a TD. He also replaced SDH if I remember when he went down(only in that game).

Just surprised that Wilson is not being mentioned much this spring.

I feel like defensive players in general don't get mentioned as much as offensive players in the spring.

Good on Mosley. He obviously wasn't a typical walk on, but I like to see those guys work their way up the depth chart.

Does having a lefty QB affect things as far as plays being designed for righties? I know it jacks me up on NCAA, but that's obviously not the same thing as a real football team

Is it really as simple as just flipping the play and everyone is A-OK with doing everything they've learned with Jalen backwards?

I think the white team wins. I almost always pick the first team defense.

I don't think they would flip the plays. They have plays designed to go to the left side of the field that they would just start calling more. I don't think they'd change the playbook. They'd just call different plays in it more often.
