Is there really any more room for debate... Mo D needs to be getting 20-25 minutes a game. He goes to war for us everytime he plays. We can't afford to not have his energy. I appreciate the Herb comps because I agree with them completely. But Mo is far ahead ahead of Herb as comparable sophomores when talking complete game.

I really don’t understand why some games he barely gets any PT and others he gets 20+. Seems like he’d consistently get good minutes with all the little stuff he does.

Philon probably too low, he had back to back deflections leading to steals that were largely responsible for us opening the lead back up in the 2nd half after it got down to 14. Had several good takes on offense as well, including the 1 on 2

It's frustrating because I feel like guys that bust their a$$ on every play and make winning plays on a consistent basis should not be fighting for playing time on this team considering it feels like at times we are a bit of a finesse team. When he plays 20 minutes a game his stat line always supports that he is one of the most disruptive players on the court

Call me crazy…but I think we would have been better this season in the long run if we just rolled with Sherrell and Grant at the 5 and used Cliffs spot on a Will Riley, McNeely or another portal Wing that could shoot.
Preseason hype wouldn’t have been there but I think we would have been better

Im going tread carefully here not to make a lot of people mad... But Cliff really needs to surprise us with great post defense against physical bigs in SEC play...I will leave it at that.

Landing Cliff isn't why we didn't get Reilly or McNeeley. And that's why we got Youngblood and Mallette, on top of Wrightsell. We were too deep a few weeks ago. We were gonna red shirt a portal wing.
Cliff hasn't been what we'd hoped. But he's serviceable. Sherrell isn't ready for 20-25 minutes a game. Taking Cliff was absolutely the with move be a another wing who we red shirt.
We've just had good shooters miss shots. We've also had mediocre shooters miss and bad shooters miss. But if anyone were told that we'd finish non-conference at 10-2, we'd all be pretty damn happy.
It's not like our schedule turned out to be soft. We've played and beaten some good teams. So we're sitting at 10-2 and haven't played to our potential. But our defense has been played much better lately. We start hitting 3s at upper 30s, there aren't many teams we aren't beating.

Ok, think you’re crazy.
Pretty sure Grant did most of his damage while playing the 4 today. Cliff and Sherrell give him that opportunity. Cliff has been underwhelming, but his minutes and fouls are definitely still needed. That, and we have so many wings that you are describing that we were redshirting 2 of them. You pretty much described Mallette, and we can’t find him enough minutes even with Trelly out for the season.
