Something stupid to ponder regarding our two losses to Clemson

In both 2016 and 2018, ESPN played "Gimme Shelter" by the Rolling Stones as the intro music before the title game started.
Saban told 60 Minutes that was his favorite song back in 2014.

Gimme Shelter, it is a great intro song
Other good ones are Thunderstruck and For Those About to Rock by ACDC.
Although never used, Rush's Spirit of the Radio would be another excellent choice.
At least among us older white guys.

Here's another strange thing to ponder. In the three title games that we've played against them, We've accepted 5 penalties for 39 yards while they have accepted 17 for 163. They have had a few more penalties that were called, but we declined them, not sure if they declined any of ours.
Break that down, we had 212 plays in the three games and they had 249. So we've averaged a penalty every 3.6 plays while Clemson has averaged a penalty every 12.4 plays. Or this way, nearly 8% of the time we ran a play a penalty was called vs. 2% for them.
Bama played like undisciplined shite this year in the title game, but the disparity is certainly significant. And because of all this, I strangely feel like an LSU fan bitching about penalties.
