So listening to Coaches QA with the media after his introduction conference I noticed something.

He mentioned the hurt of losing the natty and how our players must have felt being so close.

I’m not much on emotions but we have a motivated coach who was close to the trophy and a team full of them. We might have the recipe for a run this year.

Depends on who else transfers out and who transfers into the program. We also need to find a competent place kicker. Lots to sort out before thinking about a natty.

We won’t have many big time players transferring in. That window has closed. Need to lock down what he have.

On that note.

I feel for Washington. My mom is from out there so I've always paid attention to their program.

They are losing essentially their entire 2 deep and staff, and DeBoer recruited like shite this cycle. No other way to put it. I know the portal is a thing, and he decided to use it more than recruit high-school. But I understand why they are so mad.

I'm not that concerned about it. I just understand.

They went from on the cusp of a NC, to a doormat in 4 days.

DeBoer didn't recruit like shite

He had 16 recruits for an 88.25 average. Thats the same as Mizzou and Ole Miss

This is why you keep TRob for a bit. Got flamed by the mob for suggesting we should have retained him this morning.

Other boards i read that are not pro Bama suggest he struggles to recruit.

I personally think money/nil will take care of that, but would have been nice to keep our ace recruiter.

Im sure uga fans are happy to have him

Listen, if you want to blame someone for T-Rob leaving, blame Kirby.

Kirby played it like a pro. While all this was going on, he contacted TRob and offered him the co DC spot, but told him he had another candidate and couldn't wait for TRob, he needed an answer by Thursday. Kirby knew full and well that there was no way DeBoer would give him a spot that fast. It was well played by Kirby, so to the hat to him. You can't expect DeBoer to promote someone he hasn't interviewed or anything, just because he may lose a couple of kids.

Im not blaming DaBear.

Like i mentioned in another thread CNS or Byrne maybe should have tied him to a chair until DeBear could talk with him.

Whats done is done though
