Not sure they should be ranked at all after this weekend. Sheesh. Seems like that sat around patting themselves on the back and drinking beer the whole offseason. Murph needs to wake his crew up.

Another blown lead, UNC with the walk off win over Bama 9-8.
That is 25 runs Bama has given up over the last 3 games.
This season isn't starting out well.
Bama plays 3 more ranked teams next weekend in UCLA, Washington and Oklahoma St..

pitching was supposed to be our bread and butter this year with everyone coming back plus a new freshman stud. Gave up multiple runs last night to FSU and then again to UNC in the last inning.
What a chit show to start the season.

Without a doubt Murphy has been and still is a phony and has been propped up by talented players. What happened this weekend is not a head shaker. It is a reality. His arse is being out coached...

My personal opinion: Murphy is one of the best in the business at putting together a roster to play his style of softball. He gets the girls he needs.
But when it comes to coaching them up, making in-game decisions, evolving/adapting, and as hitting instructor, he’s not even average. And I think that’s why we get the results we get.
