This is pretty concerning. My gosh, this team is supposed to be one of Bama’s most talented

They are just playing extremely sloppy. Errors, walks, bad at bats.

Not good at all.

i am hoping this tough schedule will make them battle tested for SEC play. NOt going to face many more difficult teams then WAsh and UCLA in the sec.

pitching and field and batting should get better.

No reason to play these tough schedules in the future. Bama had a very easy nonconference schedule last year and won 60 games, the SEC Title and was one win away from the WCWS Final.

Bama is 1-4 against ranked teams so far. Last year they won over 20 games against ranked teams.

Bama usually always pays a pretty decent non conf. As long as they do decently well in conference play They won't be faulted for these losses to top teams. But boy do they look bad right now

Our girls are so flipping overrated. Murph better pull out of this tailspin or it may be time for him to find something else to do. Too much dang talent to be 4-5 out of the gate. Shameful start!

Wow. I'm not used to seeing a losing record on the softball thread.

Wasn't expecting Fouts rough start. Missing Reagan at catcher and breaking in a young freshman also an issue. Hopefully She can adjust to our pitching staff. Injuries are causing us to use up to 4 freshmen in the field at times.

So starting out 4-5 and getting run ruled and nearly no hit in some of the games is “ready” to you? Yes, we should be ready but we are not. If we were playing Samford, UAB, etc we would have had more room for error

Did you even read my comments. We SHOULD be ready but we are not. We are pathetic. Not playing good teams is not the answer. We should be good right out of the gate and we are not. We should be kicking their asses not having them kick ours. Murphy does not have this team ready to play. He's a lousy hitting coach and he's not going to change.
