Actually, as a Pastor, I am in charge of admitting to the church. That means it is my calling from God to judge. Based on what I’ve heard from Lane I do not believe that I or the elders from my church would admit him to the Lord’s Supper. He doesn’t give a testimony of trusting Christ to reconcile him to God.I have no doubt whatsoever that many churches would welcome him and his $.

Romans chapter 14 would strongly disagree.

The only part of the whole thing you typed that I agree with is the last sentence.

It is NOT your "calling" to judge. You are not a qualified fruit inspector. No man is without sin and all fall short of the glory. If you are judging, then NONE deserve to be admitted to the Lord's Supper.

Come on man. It's comments like yours that turn so many away from the church. The church should be more accepting - not of sin, but of the sinner, b/c we all are sinners. You bring in the broken and help them find the way, not wait until they find the way to accept them in. What a joke.

Y'all serve kool-aid with your donuts on Sunday morning? This reads like you're a cult leader.

It's understandable if some are skeptical,

I will believe it when he stops acting like Kiffin of old and starts acting like a new man. Kiffin's only god is himself. He LOVES himself some Lane.

I'm confused on why people would care about Kiffin's religious preferences.

So you are still judging the old Lane. How about give the man a chance to grow in the Lord and his faith before you judge him as if you have a right to judge him anyway. Your post is the most disturbing thing I have read here today and this is the rant so.....

No, actually you aren't.

"And the Lord added to the church daily those who were being saved." Acts 2:47.

It's downright comical that someone claiming to be a "pastor" has so little understanding about what Scripture says about this.

Oh, sure, you and your little group can choose who you allow to worship with you. But you have absolutely ZERO to say about whom God chooses to add to HIS church. Zero. Nada. Zilch.

Many Christians would say that absolutely no legitimate Christian minister would ever dream of making the statement, "I am in charge of admitting to the church", would regard him to be a false teacher, and would refuse to have fellowship with him, just as you would refuse to have fellowship with Lane.
