I wonder where Bama would be using the original 1936 AP Voters. Can someone wake these dead folk and ask?

TCU, Michigan and especially Ohio State do not belong in the top 4. Georgia is going to prison rape them like they did to Oregon (who people also claimed should be a playoff contender when they were coasting through their cupcake schedule).

Half the SEC would be undefeated with a TCU or Michigan schedule. I mean, this has been the same bullshite every year since 2006, outside of the anomaly that was 2014. Rinse, wash, repeat.

What top 5 team in the history of rankings has ever been blown out at home and stayed in the top 5 ?
Also the quick whistle to stop a Michigan scoop and score on the QB fumble with 2:10 in 4th Qt at the Osu 39yrd line. That would have maybe resulted in Mich maybe putting 52 on them.

I just dont see how you reward them with another shot at a Mich. That's why I did not like us having a rematch last yr with UGA.But understanding the SEC title game was more competitive than what Mich just did at OSU.Hence a rematch should have happened with us and Uga.

This take is outdated. The SEC is not what it was, especially in the West. The SEC West flat out sucked this year. Bama got to ten wins in this division without beating a team with a record better than 8-4. The division champion lost to an ACC team that couldn't win its division and just lost to Texas A&M team that was physically dominated by a 6-6 Sun Belt team. Cope all you want, but it was a soft schedule that saw Bama lose to two of the three decent teams they played.
