can't see sims getting the nod ....but if so can't see saban letting a less talented sims blow a game...close early and sims not getting it done will put in coker...no way we get down much at all before nick pulls trigger

How come almost no one ever talks about the possibility of BS actually playing well? I know a few have said they hope he does well, but most seem to be expecting him to fail and hoping Coker will come in and save the day.

It likely has something to do with what he's shown us in the past 4 years.
He may play well, but I'll remain skeptical until I see him do it for a couple of games.

What is the exact description of an Alabama quarterback? McElroy certainly wasn't given superstar billing and worked out very well as a NC "game manager". I'd LOVE to see Blake Sims have a fantastic game, and a great season. He's done nothing to be denied the start, and obviously has a lot of positives. Also, he's definitely "Built by Bama". Roll Blake!

sims will play great vs the lessers but prefer coker vs lsu's of the world
