out there? It's obvious Reese doesn't have it! We have been poached so much, it's time to turn this damn thing around and start poaching back!

Ryan Grubb. We should go back to him with $4M a year offer

Gotta have players that can at least perform the fundamentals

You'd think we have the players, just not the developers

Lane kiffin. Take the money you save on an OC that gets Kiffins coffee, and go get the best DC money can buy.

He didn’t come here because he would not be able to run his offense or have the degree of autonomy in play calling he wanted. That’s not changing. But Lord would I love to have him.

My New Years impossible wish :
* Pay Kiffen big $ with promise of head coach following Saban
* Bring in Jeremy Pruitt as DC
Everyone hates Bama anyway, let’s give ‘em something to really hate.

My frustration last night was we didn’t adjust to the slant rushes/blitzes at all in the first half…we were lucky to only be down by three at halftime. There’s a reason Kiffen and Sark ran so many quick hit wr screens at the start of games at Bama; it neutralizes that constant disruptive rush and puts the defense on its heals…but we never even attempted much of that.

Pruitt's show-cause says he will be 100% suspended for the first year after his hire date if hired before summer of 2029. I kind of feel like we need to go ahead and hire him as an analyst, eat his small salary for a year while his suspension lapses, and then have him ready for 2025 in an on-field capacity.

I personally like the idea of bringing Kiffin back as OC with the guarantee of being head coach in waiting. The dude knows his stuff, recruits love him and he's young with plenty of years left.

My feeling is that if that were an option we would have already. Maybe we are waiting on his appeal but I don't know why we didn't hire him as an analyst already if we were interested at all

I don't think there's a world where you convince someone who is the head coach at an SEC school to take a coordinator position. Why would Kiffin do that when the playoffs go to 12 teams next year and he's got arguably a top ten 10 heading into next year?

Yes, I get what you're saying....but how many chances does one get to be the head coach at Bama? With Kiffin being who is, the way he can run a offense, the way he can recruit....adding that Bama label would increase all of that!!

…he wouldn’t. That’s why I labeled it “impossible wish” - cause I never get those. But It will be interesting to see what happens with Pruitt’s appeal.

Saban stuck with Golding for 5 years. Saban will not change crap after this year. Rees and Milroe will pick up right where they left off. Already puts a damper on the hopes for 2024. (With a vastly more difficult schedule).

Sure. Lane Kiffin is going to give up his head coaching gig where he just won a New Year's Day bowl against a major powerhouse and has a top ten team, just so he can be an OC.

This obviously sounded more intelligent in your head.

"Hmmm...let's see...I can give up a lot of millions for the next couple of years in exchange for a few million...just to eventually get the same job that I'm gonna get anyway just by staying put here at Ole Miss."

It's not Rees. Remember how nmuch better Brian Daybull looked when Tua came in the CG.

You've been around long enough to know that the retards always come out of the fricking woodwork after a loss like this.
