He literally makes this offensive line tick! I'm starting to really worry about the offensive line coach and Nick Saban because even a BLIND man can see that Seth is what makes the engine go for the OLine.

I know he got hurt late in the Tennessee game but he's practiced all week if I'm not mistaken.

stupid ppl are always all, “even a blind man could see it” or “anyone who knows football can see” etc. it’s weirdly consistent.

me? if i stocked vending machines for a living and was confused about something i think i would start with trying to understand what i’m missing instead of assuming i know more than…the entirety of the alabama coaching staff and all nfl scouts.

but then i guess that’s why i don’t stock vending machines for a living. seems to be a lot of that going around here presently though.

Way to add to the conversation… This staff, which Saban put together, is well below average. They’ve brought the criticism on themselves. Especially when Ricks plays and Boom we’re better! Seth plays and Boom we’re better! Even an average idiot would question why the hell they haven’t been given a chance.

You must be 14. Either that or never played football. I’ll let you slide though because it’s not worth it.

To what degree did he practice, though. Maybe he practiced at half speed in a no-contact jersey? If he just hobbled through practice, he may not really be ready to play in a game.

Seems like McLaughlin never gets more than a couple starts in a row before they bench him again. He's pretty obviously better at blocking, but he does occasionally have an errant snap. Those off target snaps are the only explanation I can come up with for why Dalcourt would ever see the field outside of garbage time.

Seth's snapping problems are fairly serious and he doesn't get the line settled. Once the ball is snapped he plays better, but if we're trying to avoid getting 17 penalties, he's just not the dude yet.

Dalcourt started the Texas game and the team had 15 penalties in that game. I don't think the penalties can really be attributed to the center alone.

You have no clue as to what your talking about. Seth is not the PROBLEM brother.

Every game he's started in shoot the running backs had big runs like they OPERATE best when he's leading the o line.

If he's hurt then I understand but Dalcourt ain't even better than Bowles.

Injuries may also be a factor, they were in this game for sure. We don't always go out of our way (rightfully so) to announce the injury status of players.
