Constantly rushing 3 was stupid. But that's as much Nick as the DC. He damn sure had input

You guys don't need to trick yourself - we're gonna get abused by Clemson's offense. We're just going to have to outscore them.

Its hard to imagine Lawrence playing better than Trask did tonight

He doesn't have to when our DC will scheme him into having an advantage over us.

what made this game hard on our defense is we never change. we allowed Fla to put top talent against two true freshmen.
To be honest I am proud of how 13,14 tried and took on the challenge.I am mean there were some close plays that both upperclassmen of Fla should make on our true freshmen..But we could have asked surtain to blanket 84 all night. But we did not game plan, but decided to play our normal formations.
We all need to keep in mind that this was wrights,13,14,9,8,31,58 etc first SEC championships.
This game will make them better in the playoffs.
Other than losing our center I am proud of this team.

He won’t have to. Venables shut us down completely the last time we played. The offense won’t score at will. If the defense doesn’t get a few stops it’ll be a replay of 2018.

I really think the issue this game was we honestly didn’t match up with them at all.. Pitts and Toney abuse LBers.. and ours like to take a beating. We should match up better with other teams

Being a DC.. I tried to break down Florida and it’s a complete miss match for us.. Moses can’t cover but he calls out plays. It was a liability to where we had to match freshman on them. Trask is deadly accurate.. and they can slant like hell on us. Run Pitts on a slant and Toney over the top. Really stretched us

I haven't seen any WRs for Clemson who are near Grimes, Tony and Pitts. Grimes and Pitts aren't just tall guys. Those two are great athletes that can stretch the field and they are acrobatic. I'm not slighting Clemson. I simply haven't seen anyone on their roster that's as good as Grimes, Pitts and Tony.

Clemson is a much more complete team. TL won’t have to do as much

I agree.. the thing that worries me is that we can use Najee to balance out a game and chew clock. With Dickerson out that will really hurt

I think a senior Mack Jones who has shown the ability to take what a defense gives him will be much more of a difficult match for Venables than a 1st year starter Tua.

Once again, this is why OSU doesn’t belong in. Fewer games equals less beaten up team

Let's wait to see what Dickerson's status will be.

This is true. Mac can read a defense and scan the field.

I think we match up better against Clemson than UF. UF just had 5 guys they can throw out there and we have to try to cover them all. It’s really hard.

Disagree - they aren't better than Georgia. Their safeties are exploitable and their LBs are thumpers that we can also exploit.

But Venables will have a plan.

Doesn’t sound good on Landon

“He has a knee injury,” Saban said via Zoom. “We don’t know the extent of it. We’ll do an MRI tomorrow and find out. It’s pretty serious, I think, but we don’t know for sure how serious.”
