She was extremely inconsistent. It was infuriating. Whether or not a strike was called on the inside corner on a lefty seemed to change with every pitch.

Home plate ump needs to find a new hobby. I thought softball was supposed to be fast pace. Hard to do when every count runs to 3-1 or 3-2 because the strike zone is the size of a solo cup. I think he/she only rang up one batter looking, and that pitch was 3” off the plate.

Texas or Houston didn’t look that strong when I watched last couple days. Got to give ASU credit , they were scrappy with avg pitching

OU and UCLA both last a game in the regionals before advancing.

Bama can beat them if the bats come alive.

Texas wins 4 straight to advance. Going to be an interesting matchup with the Longhorns next weekend.

start Fouts and let the chips fall. Cornell has faltered in a big way in the last 3-4 weeks. Her ERA shows. Goodman is our next most dependable but not sure she can last 7 innings. We were living on the corners and blue was not giving it to us yesterday.

Didn't they lose their first game in the regional?

I watched Texas alot this weekend. Elish pitched most of the games I saw. Transfer from Oregon where Mike White coached before moving to Texas. Looks like he brought 4 or so players with him. Right hand pitcher was no 1 recruit out of high school ranked by flosoftball . 12 -0 as a freshman ,37-2 as a sophomore at Oregon. 18-9 at Texas as junior.
