Sark saying (in essence) that Texas Tech plays no one in 2026.

In this instance, he has a point. Texas Tech plays no one and will most likely go undefeated even if Sorsby isn't eligible to play this year. About the only two teams that might give them a game would be ASU and TCU. The rest are terrible teams.

I'm not a Texas fan but I think Texas should schedule them and then proceed to beat their asses on national TV. Texas Tech is this nouveau riche team that tastes a little success and all of a sudden think they're invincible. They need to be brought down a notch.

imo teams with these type schedules should be the last ones considered for the cfp, if even at all.

Texas could have stayed in the Big 12 and have the same schedule.

They'll screw up and lose one they shouldn't, but still probably make the playoffs.

Texas Tech says that they would be willing to buy out the OOC conference games for Texas in order for Texas to play Texas Tech. Pretty ballsy on TT's part but I think Texas should call their bluff and play them. I think Texas could and would beat their asses.

Nobody is going to do anything but talk. I'd love to see Texas call that bluff though.

But they didn't. Texas sucks and generally deserves to be ridiculed but they nutted up and joined the SEC to play with the big boys. I respect that.
