Yeah, limiting turnover is great, but not when the coaches you're keeping aren't good. What do you gain by keeping them?

Reminds me of the Groucho Marx “I don’t want to belong to any club that would accept me as one of its members".

I don't want a coordinator that people aren't dying to steal

If some players need to be benched...why talk about it? Just do it coach!! That's the job, coach. And as long as we're talking about people not doing their jobs can we talk about Bill and Pete? That was the worst defensive performance I've seen....maybe ever.

No adjustments, no bracketing the guy we couldn't cover 1-1 (but did anyway all game) no personnel adjustments (if 3 and 14 can't cover a dude--why not let 6 or 7 have a shot?). No pressure on the QB. Just a pathetic showing by the D. Every player and coach on that side of the ball should feel fire coming from Saban this week.

One theory is that he feels like he runs coordinators off when he chews them out on the sideline on national TV, and he is trying to limit turnover. Which limiting turnover is a good thing, but not when everyone wants the turn to be over

I mean I guess maybe he could feel like Lane would have stuck around another year and the way he left the program cost us a championship, but who the frick is going to hire Golding? Some FCS school in Louisiana?

Saban should be looking in the mirror! He and his assistant coaches recruit, sign, motivate and train these players!

He did. He said everyone deserves scrutiny and must get better, including himself and staff.

Saban doesn’t have the intensity on the sideline like he used to, so why should the players?

Maybe a shade softer but I thought he was gonna have a stroke when #34 tried to pick up the punt on Saturday. Classic Saban meltdown, complete with headset chunking. I’ve also seen him this year throwing F bombs at refs trying to get a timeout.

If these guys are feelin anxiety before a game bring in D. Square to give the pregame and to put things in perspective. I guarantee they’ll be feelin something but it won’t be anxiety
