We get more penalties than just about anyone. Our defense is terrible at setting the edge, and poor in coverage as well. They don’t rally to the football or tackle well.
Our offense is completely reliant on the QB making miracle plays anytime we dial up a decent opponent.
Maybe a month of bowl practices would make a difference, but if we dialed up UGA today, we’re getting blown out too.

While I’d love to get in, and would welcome it, Alabama had its chance and blew it twice. Maybe the concern should be making sure we don’t blow another season and waste experienced talent (i.e., staff changes and trying to restore the Alabama culture and attitude).

It's not about being good or bad with this team.
It's about playing to their competition which is why our losses were so close and why we had so many close wins.
They take the field against Georgia and they probably play the best they have all season.
They play Tulane in the Sugar Bowl and I guarantee you they look like absolute dogshit.
It's super fricking frustrating, but it is what it is.

What have you seen all year from other teams to say this Alabama team, this year, isn’t too 4? All of the “contenders” have major warts.
There isn’t an all-time great team in CFB this season - why not Alabama if they make the playoff?

To think that Bama could not put together two wins is just wrong. We can and if given the chance I believe we would.

Also, anyone thinking UGA would blow BAMA out is delusional.
I doubt UGA would be favored more than 3 on a neutral site given that Saban would have a month to prepare.
The only way anything can happen is for the committee to put BAMA at 4, and let's do this thing vs UGA. frick TCU and their dog shite schedule. frick the dog shite Big12. BAMA is the only team that has the horses to beat UGA. Period.
Wonder how many of those saying BAMA doesn't deserve to be in in '22 were Chicken Littles before the '21 SECCG?

I agree. It’s like they don’t want to get in. I couldn’t care less if we deserve it or not, as a Bama fan I want a chance to play for a title.

Normally I'd agree to this. But we haven't played up to any competition this year either. Not confident we'd play well vs UGA
