I don't see us beating Ole Miss this week. No continuity with the offense. Ole Miss will at least move the ball and Kiffin will be very aggressive with playcalling especially on 4th. I just don't think the defense will hold them while we are blind trying to find our way in the dark.

This is the game we are underdogs and should go for it on 4th down judiciously .. but i doubt saban does.

Lane is on cloud9 .. he already posted "castles falling"

We will put up enough points to beat OM IMO.

I think that outside of 1 quarter, our defense has been good so far. OM's oline isn't that good. Judkins is nowhere near 100%, may not even play.

I feel pretty good about our chances.

I get it but I don’t think people understand having straight line speed doesn’t do QB’s any good. You have to be elusive and be quick to hurt people with your feet as a QB. Milroe doesn’t have a ton of wiggle because of how big he is. He’s a freak once he gets going but he hasn’t exactly show the quick escape ability that benefits a mobile QB. Im not sure any of our QB’s are quick and agile but Milroe’s speed doesn’t give him some huge advantage like people make it out to be. Unless we call designed runs and block them well his speed is useless.

completely agree thats why he cannot duck out of sack

I’ve seen him wiggle pretty well especially on that bad snap play. He just has to commit to doing it. He’s trying to prove he can throw. Who cares. Get yards.

Also folks, please stop bringing racism into this discussion. If I see it again, I’ll ban until it stops. We all know Milroe has issues and it has nothing to do with the color of his skin. So please drop it.

For 8 of the next 9 game weeks we will be able to say, "This could get ugly".

Bama won't go 3-9, but every SEC game this year is losable. A few could be blowouts.

I'm not emotionally invested in Milroe. I was hoping Ty would prove he should be given the spot but 5 for 9 against one of the worst passing defenses with 5 sacks 2 of which were because he held the ball forever doesn't prove he is that.

I mean seriously, we had guys begging for Buchner and mad when some said he was pretty bad. The reality may not be what you want but it's still the reality.

I mean you have people saying we're going to struggle every game and get blown out some. This is silly. When we don't the same people will refuse to give credit and claim the SEC is down or some other BS.

I wanted a note traditional QB like Simpson, too, but he's not ready. I'm hopeful Milroe will improve and play loose.

I agree 100%. I think part of Milroe's issues are that he is trying too hard to prove that he isn't what the doubters in this thread are saying he is. He is playing away from his own strengths trying to prove he can be like Bryce. For example, running to extend plays and wait for a big shot downfield rather than running downhill for yards when the defense gives it to you.

If you see a lane where you can get 7 yards, take it! "But I might have gotten 40 if I had just waited another half a second." 7 yards is still a good play, dude.

Both Milroe AND the staff need to stop wishing he was Bryce back there. If the best version of you is 2017/2017 Jalen Hurts, play 2016/2017 Jalen Hurts and we can win a lot of football games. That guy was SEC Offensive Player of the Year.

It’s funny because if you take away one of his picks he likely wins the game and is a top 5 for the Heisman.

LOL

If they ever do a sequel to Clueless you should audition.
