I hope we get this Hawkins kid. He is impressive, got a good build. And he looks comfortable with the ball in his hands.

Honestly,I think he would start over Galin day 1. Havent seen Javian play yet so Idk about over him.

He doesnt have an attitude problem as far as talking back and disrespecting the coaches he just isnt a gym rat type of player that takes the game serious. If that affects other players they are just like him.

This is true. We cannot start cutting kids like John for not smiling enough.

Then from what I’m reading about the new coach, Petty won’t stay long. Hard work and dedication are definitely non-negotiables with CNO. Petty can stay and ride the pine (unless he changes his habits) or he can find another school where he can do it his way.

Indiana could be a sneaky threat to steal him. Archie is a good coach and so far has been untainted by the FBI scandal involving his brother.

Man Watford and Kira in this system with the shooters we have coming in could make for a good first year under Oats

Why is everyone so eager to see our players transfer? I'd rather see them all stay, get coached for the first time, and excel at Bama rather than doing the same thing at some other school. Petty can be a better player next year than any freshman recruit we're likely to bring in.

This is what I hope Nate gets rid of....Watch our guys jog through their sprints at 1:53 and Avery not say a damn word.

So he has been a head coach for a total of 4 years. What a hire.

You can also add Brad Stevens to that list. Made it to the championship game in year 3 and 4.

Yikes, a decent HS coach doesn’t allow loafing like that.

Teague, I’m not excited to see our guys transfer but I’d rather see them transfer than be cancers in the locker room. My hope is they disrespected Avery for his lackadaisical attitude and nepotism and they are ready for a new beginning and ready to work.

What I don’t want to see is any more half-arse effort and lousy attitude. If that’s all they can deliver, well then Bye, Felicia!

George,

At your convenience, will you put together an analytical synopsis of offensive and defensive metrics of what’s Oats’ teams have done the past two years and how that compares to what the SEC has done?

I know that’s a lot to ask and it won’t even tell the full story, but it would be interesting to see at the very least. Maybe just the top half of the SEC if it is too tedious or time consuming to do the whole league.

Hot take alert, this is a coaches failure to connect and motivate a player to buy in. If it isn't coaching, why does Nick Saban has a significantly reduced rate of this relative to other programs?

Lort. Yeah, why didn't they just get Coach K or Roy Williams? We know they're good.

Some fans shouldn't be allowed to speak.

Agreed. It's definitely a coaching problem.
