Well, I know Byrne deserves benefit of the doubt.
Oats would have been my fall back guy if Forbes did not want the job.

Nah, that isn't true at all. Hell you could say Hurley lived off of what Witherspoon built.
If we were going to hire a mid major guy Oats fits all the good stuff. I just don't trust mid major guys. So hopefully this one works.

I don't hate the Oats hire, I think he can be successful, but if we were going to the mid-major route I would have preferred to have Steve Forbes
