If it is Matta, it is a grad slam hire. Everything I heard and read pointed to UCLA or no coaching. This hire would be solely because of Greg Byrne. I don’t think Matta would have come if it wasn’t due to GB. We finally have an admin committed to winning at basketball

Yeah, he definitely found out right afterwards and walked it back. Matta is legit and has a pretty strong track record of putting guys in the NBA.

Oh, and I don't give a damn who transfers. I wish them the best and hope they make the right choice, but I wanted a ground up rebuild anyways.
