I know he didn't have the year we all expected, but having a veteran return is always good news.

Best decision he has made for himself. You don't want to be a Adrian Hubbard.

I'm excited and hoping he will be fully engaged. If he comes back hungry and plays like he did at the end of 2017, he'll be a 1st round pick.

247 has a thread about Savion Smith (VIP) stating he is considering going early to the NFL. I will not be broken up about that for sure.

I hope Saivion comes back. We should move him to Safety, where I think he'd be a better fit. He can take Deionte's spot.

Good. He needs to step up big time next year, but I'm glad he's returning. More bodies up front + experience doesn't hurt.

An early look at our 2-deep:

DE: Davis/Barmore
DT: Mathis/Wynn
DE: Ray/Alfano

Our DL should be much deeper next season and it will give us the luxury of redshirting guys like Dale and Ingraham and potentially give them a game or two to get their feet wet. I could easily see us rotating in 6-8 guys. Barmore tore it up on the scout team and Mathis and Wynn should provide quality play. I think Justin Eboigbe will be tough to keep off the field due to his size and speed, and it certainly helps that he's going to go through spring ball, and Byron Young is physically ready to play. Not to mention that we have a really good shot at landing Sopsher.

Are you saying he is not a moron? You trip over a blade of grass and destroying your ankle or rupturing an achilles tendon to the point you have to be carted off the field, yet still think you can make a big enough impression at the NFL combine (that you are not likely to be invited to attend) that you get drafted... Sounds pretty moronic to me.

He’s shown that he can be great, but he didn’t have the season we thought he would. Him returning is great for our defense because I think he will be able to get back to playing on a high level and be a leader up front.

Huge for DL depth.

Now Irv Smith, Mack and Jennings need to come back and Bama is set,

Great news. A talented, frustrated upper classman that at worst is a solid starter and at best reaches full potential.

Zero bad in this.

This is good news for our depth a DL. If he can avoid injury I'm sure he will be one of our defensive standouts.

Now we need Mack Wilsom yo declare for the draft and Irv to decide to stay.

We need Q to pull a Clemson and stay due to unfinished business....THEN, we will be set.
