That’s on FOX and we play at 11am almost every year against the cupcake before Auburn.

Don’t care if it’s Fox, ESPN, CBS, or MTV.

Marquis games do not start at 11am. Period. Especially when it is 374 degrees.

Play that game at 6 or 7 and it’s an entirely different game.

True but Murphy was the #2 qb in the Rice game if I remember right. Do you waisted him on scout team when Ewers already got hurt last year in this game?

Milroe only had a couple of designed runs against MTSU. I expect that to change against Texas.

Texas only scored 1 TD in the first half at home against Rice. It took a while for them to take control of that game. Ewers was still in the game until the start of the 4th. Their D line is very good. Rice's longest run was 6 yards. We will find out if the O-line for Bama can run the ball or not.

If Bama can put pressure on him they should be okay. I have much more confidence that Steele can do that than Golding did.

I'm pretty sure Texas (nor Alabama) had any say-so in the game time. That's a TV thing entirely.

HookEm was approved before the game last year. He just came for the pregame conversation and never caused an issue. When the game wasover, he walked away and did not come back until this week so his access was still there.

I can see our access requests all the way back to 2020 and he doesn't have one in the list.

His access has been restored.

I don't know when he originally got access, but he has it again.

Maalik Murphy is a big boy, but he is no where near as fast as Milroe. Murphy might hit a 4.6 40, Milroe will run in the 4.3 range.

As a senior, he carried the ball 42 times for 82 yards.

You're telling me you guys had a 6'5 dude, 235lbs, and as fast as Milroe, and he just couldn't average more than 2 yards a carry? Milroe carried 39 times for 307 yards his senior year.

I hope you guys are using him to simulate Milroe's speed for the game.

Murphy is a Pro-Style QB not a dual threat as most assume. Runs only as a last resort, per their own commentators.

It was a good move. I don't think this little corner of the site needs to be run the same way the Rant is. We should welcome anyone with honest insight and motives.

They are big on the dline. One is almost Mt Codyish. If Bama can run em sideline to sideline like Bama did vs Ga in the Sec game they'll be so tired by the 4th that they won't be a factor
