If you find yourself upset at all about any coaches and players leaving, your are putting blame on the wrong person. Coach DeBoer has nothing wrong. Hell he has been in town one day. 5 days after coaching his damn team in the NC game.

If you want to be angry, the only person you should be angry with at this point is Saban.

You shouldn’t be angry at anyone

Am I supposed to be mad at a 72 year old man for retiring? Is he supposed to coach until he’s in a coffin?

At least DeBoer won't be distracted with AFLAC commercials, Mercedes dealerships and real estate ventures.

Kind of refreshing.

How bout people quit acting like immediate gratification 13 year olds and act like adults with real life experiences who understand that most things in the real world take some time?

Nah… they need to bitch and moan, it’s what makes them happy. Hell the same ones bitched and moaned about Saban all the time so that’s not going to change now.

Wait till he uses all of his timeouts in the first quarter. Y’all gonna be jumping off bridges.

How about put blame on no one because no one has done anything wrong?

Transfers and coordinator departures are ubiquitous now. No one on this board knows why Bond or T-Rob are departing, and no one knows if it would have happened even if Saban hadn’t retired.

Pretty sure you don't get timeouts in the first quarter.

It’s hard for me to fathom that people wouldn’t think, given the realities of the portal, that we would lose some folks regardless of who we hired as coach, even if we reanimated friggin’ Paul William Bryant. 2007-2023 was a tremendous time for Bama fans but this is a new era on a new landscape and people are going to lose their damned minds if they expect exactly continuity of the last 17 years, not to mention that it’s doing exactly what the trolls on the Rant are accusing our fan base of. Chill out and go with the flow.

Wait. You don’t have any timeouts in the first quarter? Have you ever watched the game called football?

I vote they should give each coach three timeout tokens each game. If you don't use them, you keep them for the next game. So by the Auburn game,
you could call 36 timeouts.

Coach Saban would currently have 2613 tokens still in his pocket.

Wouldn't that be 72 timeouts?

I whacked the thread to allow the OP time to compose himself, but some people have stated at different times today that DeBoer was a bad hire because TRob left, Bond hit the portal and the rumors about Downs going to Georgia.

ETA: OP of this thread is just saying that Saban retiring is the reason behind these situations, not DeBoer being hired.
