Cant plod along and score FGs or even TDs

do what? You do know that TDs (plus a 2 pt conversion) are the most points you could possibly get in a possession right?

I've never seen a game where a team scored a TD every possession and still lost. If it's not impossible, it's damn near it. [not that UGA is capable of that, but I was commenting on the "or even TDs" part of your post]

Point is you can't plod along and score a field goal or a TD when the other team is boatracing you with Quick strike TDs.
You have to match them stride for stride, you fall behind ,it's over.

I don't think LSU will rip and run up the field all game against this UGA defense.

Again, 2 points:

(1) If you score a TD every posession, the speed with which you do so is irrelevant. In that case it takes 1 stop and you win. [again, not that UGA is capable of scoring a TD on every possession]. If there are FGs mixed in, then you need multiple stops on D rather than just 1.

(2) I think UGA will get more stops than you think.

Did you even understand what I was saying? If they are scoring TD s at a fast pace as they usually do and you are taking your time because you are mainly a methodical offense you better keep up with them or you fall so far behind you cannot catch up;whereas LSU can catch up even if they do fall behind by 2-3 scores. Georgia's defense is playing well but their offense is mainly Swift and a few nice fades from Fromm. Don't think they will be able to keep up with LSU's pace. Don't have a horse in this race, don't care who wins.

i'm thinking LSU embarrasses uga. coach o wont call the tigahs off until late. that uga vaunted defense hasnt seenan explosive offense like LSU's all season. plus, uga's key injuries will make that offense even slower.

but hey, i'm terrible at prognostication

Kirby's value system is about to get the acid test. The man still believes mightily that defense triumphs over the HUNH RPO spread. The fact that he hasn't been tempted to invest in at least a more uptempo offensive model while hanging his visor on his defensive virtues has clearly separated him from modern-day Alabama in philosophy.

If he's successful beating these type teams, Kirby will have us all recalibrating our offensive perspectives. If he goes down like Michigan vs Ohio State, then Kirby might be in the market for a new OC this off-season.

Your PM is generally right when it comes to other teams. So so wrong when it comes to Bama and big games lol
