Commander Data

Look at the GoFundMe page.

Along with your children, there are real people out there that care about you.

It's unimaginably hard, but you don't have to feel alone anymore. God is with you, and he's showing you that your life means something, that you matter, and that you will get through this.

EKG posted this in another thread:

quote:

Dear Father,
I thank You for the love that David and Carri had.
Father, You understand the pain of loss and grief.
But right now, I pray David finds some relief from the pain he is feeling.
Your Word says You are close to the broken-hearted, and You save those who are crushed in spirit.
I pray that Your presence, comfort and love will be with the Carroll family.
Father, grant help and guidance to David as he deals with such an unspeakable loss.
Amen

As I posted in the OT thread, you need to stay strong for your kids. Looks like you no longer have to worry about the funeral costs, and can now focus 100% on your children. It'll be tough, but you will get through this.

If you are a praying man, stay on your knees through this horrible time. I 100% believe it will help you through this. Again, stay strong man!

Awesome!

Hopefully theres more than enough for funeral costs. Sounds like CD needs some financial relief.

Sidenote: Imo, he should try to get a trustworthy finding of the cause of death in case there was malpractice.

Some people in the other thread said he should hire an attorney. I imagine that would be based on the findings of the autopsy though.

Money won't make a dent in the pain you are feeling Data but hopefully the money raised will remove some other things to worry, fear and be sad about and allow you to focus on what really matters right now.

Yeah. Law firms specializing in malpractice lawsuits probably do free initial consultation and might offer to arrange for an autopsy and aborb its cost in order to get a shot at their %age of the settlement fee. No retainer or other fees should be necessary. I figure malpractice insurance companies try to settle lawsuits out of court.

I hate to speculate on such a tragic matter to Data but I’m guessing fresh off of knee surgery it was probably a Pulmonary embolism

The OT thread has now been anchored. I hope there's not something up.

Chicken says he removed the GoFundMe link, not CD. OT thread is unanchored.
