Screw that. You don't do that and ignore other hires unless you know damn sure you are going to get your top choice.
Now every candidate we go after now will know we are even more desperate. Either they will ignore our offer because they don't want to be #2 or we'll overpay somebody.

Looks to me like he realy didn't want to coach our team, but used us to get what he could. And when he couldn't get texas he held up WSU for all he could get,

Being so public about how much money we were going to throw at a coach is going to make it difficult to be cheap now. Bill "dick in the wind" Battle is in a tight spot.

Eh, I half expected this. When the hire didn't happen yesterday, I didn't like our chances. I was shocked Lucky said he felt we would get him.

Considering the plan thus far has been:
- Keep Anthony Grant
- Ignore everyone else for Gregg Marshall only to get used for a raise
I can't say I'm very confident that we'll end up with anyone worth getting excited about.
