I guess im old school. Commitment and love of team mean something to me. If my kid chose a school and coaches with full knowledge of who was coaching there, id encourage him to honor his commitment rather than to cut and run when adversity hits

I expect 24 has a deal as of tonight. He played some really good snaps. Hate to lose him.

I thought he progressed but we also still have Pierre, Russaw and Hill. All of whom were ahead of him at the same position basically.

If #4 ever plays at the level he's spoken of, then we're in good shape.

If my son was a 5-star offensive linemen and I saw what Alabama has rolled out there the last two seasons, it wouldn't be a question about asking the agent to see if other schools/coaches we liked in the recruiting process still have a spot for our son.

I'd legit advise that hypothetical son to transfer out of my alma mater right now. What we're doing on offense is abysmal stuff that would ruin that kid's pro future.

"Son, when you make a commitment...you should cut and run if things dont go perfectly, we gotta get that bag, screw your team"

Some of yall better not complain one bit about the state of CFB and players making selfish decisions, because yall clearly would make the same decisions.

If I had a son id tell him that football is only a short period of his life and that honoring your commitments will pay off in the long run. Id tell him if you really want to make it in the NFL and want to put in that work, youll have that opportunity regardless of how you are coached in college IF you are dedicated enough.

I agree with your thinking. However, in the current player and parent pool I think you will be in minority with your thinking.

Terry Saban. Why are we doing this anymore. All the parents want to know is how much will they get paid.

I’m literally describing the individual self interest involved in these decisions. This is a business that comes down to are you adding or removing value from the student’s career prospects.

If my son wanted a computer science degree and we decided that he wants to be in computing still but the school’s curriculum was not adapting to emerging knowledge well enough, we’re probably transferring then too.

Hollywood Smothers from NC State is visiting.

He and Ryan will have to fight over Hollywood.

First player to drop a pass has to change their name to Dollywood.

FSU is going to have a rough go of it. They will need to hit the portal hard, but after the last 2 years who is going to want to go there?

Norvell is a dead man walking and they aren’t going to splurge on NiL when they’ll need it for his buyout. They’re basically just punting on next season.

Edit: They do have a pretty easy road opener from what I just watched a couple days ago

Sounds like someone that should be our top priority.

Sad we need to tap the big ten for offensive linemen.

Sad we haven't heard our pathetic OLC has been fired yet.

I still believe in Dear if they can start coaching him up and the OL too.

He's got the athletic ability to be big-time.
