The AU board has a great thread about all the transfer outs. Apparently they all started partying with hard drugs and were all awful people. Weird how that happens
Lol right.
They were fine buying these guys but are now up in arms trying to make it seem merely financial as if anyone who wants to win or be coached well would want to stay in that dumpster fire

I've got some Auburn alum in-laws that I really feel for how bad they've fallen off since 2019. We don't even talk about how the season's went and the Iron Bowl is going to go over Thanksgiving dinner anymore. It's miserable to be a fan in these circumstances.
However, the random Auburn fan on the internet can get bent. lmaoooo.

Makes no sense to me why a player on a CFP contending team would announce intentions to xfer. If that hell bent to quit and leave, they shouldn’t get any form of recognition.

Just wait until they win one and that will be all you hear about. Then you'd be pissed you didn't rub it in their face while you had the chance. Don't let them fool you

This. Anyone who lived through 2002-2007 knows this all too well. Or all the “Got a second?” jokes that we’ve heard for so long.

There is no prestige gained by beating AU. You just don't have to listen to them.

I agree, but if you know you're not going to play, and can see the writing on the wall for next season too, I'm not sure what you'd be waiting for.
ETA: I'd ride it out and at least try to get a ring.

The only reason I know who he is, is because I play college football on XBox. I had to look him up last year to see if he was a real person.

I went to school at Troy in the early to mid 2000s. I left Troy games early only to watch Kenneth Darby run the ball 45 times up the center’s backside. The number of Auburn fans that rubbed fear the thumb in my face makes me not care one bit that Auburn is getting absolutely screwed. F them and the cow they rode in on.

I was a student at UA during that time period. Believe me, I saw first hand how classless barners are. In 2004, our team dressed out 50 players for the Iron Bowl when we played their team that was basically an NFL roster. They enjoyed every minute and celebrated like they won the Super Bowl when they won that game. Or the next year when Brodie was sacked 12 times. People should never forget how their fans acted during that win streak.

He didn’t appear in any games this season. Got passed up by younger players.

Kalen DeBoer: You remember that spelling bee you won in the 1st grade?
Roq Montgomery: Oh no, you didn't.
Kalen DeBoer: Rock? "r-o-q"?
Roq Montgomery: Yea, so what's your point?
Kalen DeBoer: r-o-C-k!
Roq Montgomery: Ohh!

It appears Jalen Hale did not make the trip to Pasadena. I imagine he'll be hitting the portal come Friday. I hate he suffered that devastating knee injury in March of last year. He had the potential to be special.
