Not saying this is the case but I would imagine end of year /one on one meetings are taking place as we speak . May take a few more days for more to enter . He is another example of the “most talented roster “ in SEC argument . People look at stars too much with blanket statements . Hate to lose anybody but it’s a different beast these days .

We can use that money to retain Carroll. Win-win

Offensive line looked like shite all year. Carroll should have been invested in earlier as the RT starter in terms of snaps. We just got buttfricked by the Hoosiers. Nah man, he definitely only wants the bag. Couldn’t be that he has soured on what this program can do for him AND someone is dropping a bag too.

Why did Sanders playing time disappear at the end of the season? Is he hurt?
Not a single o lineman has gotten better in their career here. Not one.

Maybe, just maybe, Carroll was told that the shithead coaching the line was going to be retained and Carrol figured he would like to get better

I extend the same offer to you. You don’t know what Carroll is thinking no more than me under that framework.

I believe most players are considering more than just money when transferring. They know there is more money to be made by getting to the league with the development to stick around with a second contract. They also want to win championships.

I’m not saying money isn’t a factor but people always acts like it is the factor for every player.

I guess that makes fans feel better than “guy doesn’t believe in our program.”

Okay, then maybe don't say:

Seems like a definitive statement, no? Certainly doesn't read like merely an opinion.

Or maybe he was told that he was being fired. There were several commits that really liked the OL coach.

Unless he comes out and explains it…nothing more than speculation.

I figured it was inferred that almost all talk on a sports board in this respect is speculative. I apologize if it was assumed that I have been talking with Carroll’s representation.

Agreed. He may have been very close to the coach and that’s why he’s there. Wtf knows

With respect I disagree. He made the play on our punt that he keep out of the endzone against somebody. So, one play in 15 games isn't bad.

You might be right but as someone that leads a lot of 18-30 year olds, that’s usually not the case. There are caveats, like if they have a good mentor they listen to but money is the driving factor most of the time.
