We got the tight end from Oklahoma State, but the window lasts until the 16th. A few players are just now visiting or scheduling visits this week.

We have quite a few visits lined up this week. Looks like we're targeting that Michigan C, two different RBs, the VT LB, the USC DL as of right now.
Still need a lot more OL, DL, and LB help.

Purdue's starting Center just entered the portal. No idea if he's any good (but he was a Freshman All-SEC as a Guard at fAU before going to Purdue).

I'm assuming we have a good bit of NIL that opened up with a few of the bigger names in the portal, namely Mbakwe. It's pay to win, we'd better be paying the big uglies after what we saw on the field last season.

This is the great unknown. Who knows what our budget is for portal guys after paying recruits and giving raises to guys returning next year.

Absolutely. It's just a question of whether you commit a large chunk of the budget to one guy who's a stud or if you use that money to bring in multiple guys that might not be All-American-type talent, but are still pretty good.
I don't envy being in Courtney Morgan's shoes the next 11+ days

I couldnt imagine trying to budget for all the raises it may take to keep guys that are already on the roster vs going out and getting guys from the portal that could be an upgrade or downgrade.

Okay, new OL coach name for y'all...
The Arizona Cardinals just fired their HC. Their OL coach is Justin Frye.
Frye was the run game coordinator/offensive line coach for Ohio State from 2022-2024.
KDB's Fresno State team also played against, and beat, UCLA when Frye was the OC and OL coach there.

We are so bad on the LOS especially on offense that if we aren't able to pay what it takes to be a top 40 in the nation rushing attack then we ought to just redirect football NIL to men's basketball and cut the nets in April at some point.
