Can you imagine what some Big Ten teams pay out just in travel? Yea schools have a lot of expenses , many of which we don’t even know about I am sure .

Simple math is Bama spent a ton on building the best facilities to impress the recruiting pool. Now that money has to be spent to buy players.
Where do they now get the money to maintain those facilities?

Seems like a basketball practice facility hurts you anyway. Part of your homecourt advantage is being familiar with the court, goals, etc.
If you spend all your time practicing somewhere else it seems that would take away part of your homecourt advantage.
Should have kept the old stuff including the baseball field as well.

Maybe he was told Lloyd & Carroll are the tackles next season and he doesn't want to play inside ? Just speculating

He did say before the Rose Bowl that he preferred to play Tackle, so it wouldn't be a stretch for him to transfer so that he can play Tackle somewhere.

Also, I have a funny story about formby and proctor.
I went to the concession at a wheelchair basketball game last season and both were standing in front of the counter.. they weren’t ordering so I asked “are you guys in line” Formby being the absolute giant that he is kept looking over me and watching the game. Kadyn had to nudge him and then look at me and said “nah man we aren’t in line.”
It was absolutely hilarious and made me feel so damn short.

Well good luck to him then. I don't think he has the lateral quickness to be a successful SEC caliber tackle myself.

For sure. I just think there's been too much smoke related to a change for me to believe that KDB ultimately decided not to make one.
