With all the talk by Bo Nix this week about how Alabama always gets the favorable officiating, I was so pissed today with the officials. The late hit by Dallas Turner, Roger McCreary mugging our receivers, the BS call on Ekiyor. Very impressive for Alabama to get out of there with a win.

Quite a few calls went against Alabama.
Even some bad spots.

The call on Ekiyor is a legitimate foul. I mean it's a dumbass rule but it is a rule.

The holding on our receivers and dlineman sucked though.

Refs fricked us till basically the final drive.

134 penalty yards. Most ever bu any Nick Saban team. Those refs were out to get us and it was obvious. I'm surprised they didn't call our TD back on some phantom hold.

Every time we got any yards in the first half, they threw a flag. Hard to get momentum or points when that happens,

Neal's hold was bulshit as well. He pushed a guy with 1 arm and the dude just broke in half. Guess the refs though that's odd must be a flag.

Also the block in the back on the scramble is ticky tac.

Make no mistake, Nix’s little temper tantrum worked.

The next time anyone says we get all the calls… and even the timely ones: ply the tape from this game

Normally when an offensive line man loses his helmet it is because the defense knocked it off

How did the 4th down run by Trey Sanders at 2:00 in the 4th Q not get a review? I thought it looked pretty damn close.

It was unfortunate that between it being 2 minutes left AND having to save timeouts, Saban couldn't do anything about getting that spot reviewed via challenge.

Ref blew a quick whistle to kill the play when he saw the pushing forward momentum

Objectively looking at it, he was short, even with the push at the end.
He was way short before the push.

Go back and watch the roughing the passer call on Dallas Turner. The official had to have thrown the flag before Finley and Turner even hit the ground. How do we know this? The official had to retrieve his flag from underneath Finley who was laying on top of it. That official was looking for something to call on Bama.

Now I know how Boone felt in Remember the Titans in that playoff game.

Roger McCreary was literally mugging Metchie and Williams before he was thrown out. There were multiple times when he should have been called for PI or defensive holding. And somehow the officials missed them. Amazing that we got out of there with the win.

That nearly cost us the game. That was egregious!

The continuing to engage without a helmet penalty is complete BS. Especially when the AU defender had him in a headlock. What was he supposed to do? Would’ve put himself at more risk if he hadn’t done that. It’s ridiculous that it’s a 15 yard penalty.

And just how in the hell did he lose his helmet? I mean they just don’t magically come off without someone else yanking/pulling or pushing up on it!

That’s what’s so stupid about making it a 15 yarder on the guy who loses his helmet.
